Sustainability

Sustainability is really important to us and we are always looking at ways in which we can reduce our impact on the environment. 

All our products are made in the UK. 

Supporting UK businesses is important to us. All our products are made in the UK and we try really hard to work with suppliers who share our eco-friendly ethos. 

For example, the company who prints our greeting cards is a waterless printer. They don't use chemicals and instead use vegetable oil based inks. They use carbon offset paper which is either 100% recycled or from sustainably managed forests. They recycle 100% of their printer regenerated waste with none going to landfill. 

Sustainable materials 

Creating eco-friendly products is really important to us and is at the core of our product development process. 

For example, our tea towels, tote bags and aprons are made using unbleached organic cotton, and the supplier we work with is soil association certified. 

The cotton they use has not been exposed to pesticides or other harmful chemicals, meaning the soil it comes from is higher in nutrients and better for supporting the climate and its wildlife. 

100% recyclable and biodegradable packaging 

Ensuring our products are well packaged is really important to us. We want our customers to have the best experience possible when opening them, but that doesn't mean we can't look after the environment at the same time. 

All our packaging - whether that's cardboard, twine or paper - is recyclable/biodegradable. 

Our art prints are wrapped in glassine bags which are water resistant but they are also 100% recyclable/biodegradable and include no plastic. 

Even our stickers are vegan and biodegradable. Made from sugar-cane, hemp and linen, they wood-free.
